Ross Ulbricht Sentenced To Life And Secret Service Agents Investigation Ongoing

Found guilty of money laundering, drug trafficking, hacking, Ross Ulbricht, Silk Road founder, has been judged and sentenced by a New York tribunal to two life sentences along with 120 years worth of additional imprisonment. Katherine Forrest, federal judge has made it clear that Ross Ulbricht educational path was an important factor in this case.

The Silk Road website was online from January 2011 to October 2013 offering its users a way to communicate anonymously and to buy illicit products in exchange of Bitcoins.

What you did with Silk Road was terrible for the society

Let’s not forget to mention there is still an ongoing investigation against two secret service agents formerly investigating the Silk Road case. They are accused of taking advantage of their position to steal thousand’s of Bitcoins.

The United States Marshals Service, has already auctioned most of the seized Silk Road Bitcoins and intend of selling the remaining’s ( 44 341) in the coming months.
