21 releases Raspberry Pi with Bitcoin


The team at namely Andreesson Horowitz and includes Cisco, Qualcomm and Peter Thiel have released a new version of the Raspberry Pi that includes native software and hardware support for the Bitcoin protocol. The devices is targetted at developers and not considered a mining machine. Up until now computer to computer transfers have been difficult and this device goes about solving this issue.

The idea is to allow individuals to setup businesses by selling Bitcoin­-payable goods, games, and services over the Internet through a 21 Bitcoin Computer. The computer is available directly from Amazon on November 16th, 2015.
